Yggdrasil launches new Asian-themed reel slot Elemental Princess- DreamTech Gaming’s third release as YG Masters partner
Yggdrasil Gaming‘s partnership with Dreamtech Gaming has seen another exciting addition to its rapidly-growing YG Masters offering with the release of Elemental Princess. The Asian-themed reel slot has been configured using the Cherry AB subsidiary’s advanced GATI technology, which all YG Masters partners use.
The Asian-centric software developing studio became Yggdrasil’s flagship YGS Masters program’s sixth studio partner in April 2019 and since then the collaboration has created a total of three games, with Ice and Fire and Medusa Fortune and Glory released in February and August this year, respectively.
“Our partnership with DreamTech Gaming has seen thrilling additions to our portfolio..”
Based around four princesses who each possess the powers of their chosen element, the medium volatility video slot takes place on a 5 reel, 3-row grid, where the background changes to match whichever princess is active. Throughout the game, players will encounter a number of features including floating wilds, sticky wilds, spreading wilds and win multipliers.
Princess Spin modifiers:
Each of the princesses in the 25 payline slot can trigger one of four unique Princess Spin modifiers on any base game spin, which include the Earth Princess Spin, which turns all standard wilds into Earth Princess Wilds. Any high paying symbol situated next to an Earth Princess Wild is also transformed into an Earth Princess Wild. All standard wilds turn into Water Princess Wilds on a Water Princess Spin, and up to 10 wilds can be added to the reels in random positions, while a win multiplier of up to 10 times is added by the Fire Princess Spin. Lastly, if a player is awarded the Air Princess Spin, all standard wilds change into Air Princess Wilds and a Floating Mega Wild appears over the reels, up to 3×3 in size.
The bonus feature can be triggered by either landing at least three scatter symbols or by the Lucky Feature Trigger. If that happens, the powers of the princesses are magnified. At the feature’s start, a princess is chosen at random, with her given power remaining for the duration of the spins.
Beneficial partnership:
Head of Partner Programs for Yggdrasil, Stuart McCarthy, said in a company press release…
“Elemental Princess brings the powers of all four key elements together as players look to harness the Princesses’ abilities to win huge amounts.
“Our partnership with DreamTech Gaming has seen thrilling additions to our portfolio already and this looks set to be yet another hit added to the growing YG Masters offering.”
YG Masters growth:
Growing by leaps and bounds, the Swedish software provider’s YGS Masters “invite-only, semi-open” program, which was launched in 2018, currently has 15 studio partners, with its latest admission, Peter & Sons, joining Jelly, ReelPLay, AvatarUX, Betsson, True Lab, Dreamtech Gaming, Northern Lights, Rabcat, Fantasma, 4ThePlayer, Reflex Gaming, Gamevy, Bang Bang Games and Skyrocket Entertainment, as part of the innovative program.
Also commenting on the new release, Thomas Lu, Chief Executive Officer for DreamTech Gaming, said…
“This is our third release as a YG Masters partner and adds a different perspective after Ice and Fire and Medusa: Fortune and Glory.
“With helpful guardians of the elements on hand, players will enjoy their journey across the game and hopefully find bountiful riches throughout. Being part of the YG Masters initiative has allowed us to flourish over the course of the year and we’re already looking forward to the release of our next title.”
