World Series of Poker reveals Europe schedule along with Circuit events
The WSOP is back in action, as the COVID-19 pandemic eases a bit around the world. Officials announced this week that the WSOP Europe will return to King’s Resort located in Rozvadov this November. The property will host the WSOPE stop from November 19 to December 8. The European stop will include 15 gold bracelet events and feature over €11 million in total prize money.
Along with the WSOPE, the WSOP Circuit will run first, offering events from August 12 to September 14. Adding in the festival prize money, players will be competing for over €15 million within a four-month time frame.
WSOPE Schedule Details
Players will be competing in 15 total events on the WSOP Europe schedule at King’s Resort. Buy-ins start at €350 and will go as high as €50,000. The higher buy-in events are high rollers with the Main Event of the schedule having the usual €10,000 buy-in.
The schedule kicks off with the opener, which features a €350 buy-in and €300,000 prize pool. Event #2 is an 8-handed pot-limit Omaha tournament with a €550 buy-in and €200,000 guaranteed. Players will be able to compete in several formats during the series including freezeouts, bounty, mix, and high roller events.
Gregory Chochon, the WSOP Director, said the series cannot wait to return to King’s Resort this year for WSOPE. Chochon said:
“King’s Resort has become the center of the poker world in Europe and it’s the best place for a poker reunion all players can celebrate.”
The resort’s location in the Czech Republic makes it easy for Europeans to travel to compete in various events hosted onsite.

GGPoker Announces Mega Online WSOP Main Event
Along with the WSOPE schedule announcement, it has also been revealed that GGPoker will be offering $20 million in guaranteed prize money during the WSOP 2021 Online Main Event. This is less than the 2020 $25 million guarantee but still a huge amount of cash to be competing for.
GGPoker hosts the international online WSOP, and this will be the second year the provider has offered online poker action connected to the tournament series. The online series began when the COVID-19 pandemic made it too difficult to host WSOP gaming in person. Because the online series was so popular, WSOP is bringing it back again.
